NEW Tour Edge EXOTICS XCG3 DRIVER
The Exotics line is Tour Edge’s premium offering and is designed to deliver maximum performance, mostly to lower handicaps.
* The heads are supremely technical and are manufactured from three different metals – the face is cup-face titanium, the crown and neck is lightweight magnesium (half the weight of titanium), and the sole is heavy hyper steel. This allows Tour Edge to reposition the weight lower and wider than most other brands.
* The magnesium crown and neck is relatively supple, which helps absorb shock and deliver a smooth, powerful feeling at impact.
* Sits perfectly square at address for easy line-up.
* This is the control “work the ball in both directions” lower handicap choice.
* The head is round, but internal weighting delivers a solid MOI and a lower, more penetrating ball flight with less spin in a neutral bias.
* The Graphite Design X Quad shaft is at 45” (standard length) and is designed to deliver control combined with length.
* It looks great, feels great and sounds great (soft, solid).
* It falls into the long category rather than the extra long. In other words, it is similar to most other lower handicap “control” drivers which place an emphasis on accuracy over length. Expect to hit the ball 10 metres shorter than the longest, but you are guaranteed to hit fairways!
All in all, it looks great and feels terrific.
